About Wushu Precision
A scoring and competition-management platform for modern and traditional wushu, built directly on the current IWUF rulebooks — for judges, organisers, athletes, and the people watching from the stands.
Why this exists
Wushu taolu scoring is a fast, high-pressure job: a panel of judges assessing the same routine against a detailed rulebook, in real time, with results that athletes and coaches need to trust immediately — and too often cannot. That process has traditionally leaned on paper score sheets, calculators, and manual aggregation — all of it error-prone under time pressure, and none of it auditable after the fact.
Wushu Precision replaces that with a shared, real-time system: every judge's tap is timestamped at the server, every score is computed from the rulebook formula, and every result is published with its full breakdown. The goal isn't to rewrite the rulebook — it's to make a score something you can check rather than something you have to take on trust.
And that standard is for the whole sport, not just its biggest stages. Wushu Precision is built for competition from the club hall to the continental final, on the principle that an athlete's first routine deserves the same checkable score as a title-deciding one — at a technology and price point accessible to everyone in the sport.

Built on the rulebook, not around it
Every formula, deduction code, and judging interface follows the rule editions currently issued by the International Wushu Federation: the IWUF Modern Wushu Taolu Rules (2024) and the IWUF Traditional Wushu Taolu Rules (2019). Where the rulebook doesn't spell out implementation, we default to integrity and transparency — never a convenient shortcut.
Where things stand
Wushu Precision is pre-release software. The judging core is live and in production use, and billing and paid entries are generally available; supporting tools around it (organiser dashboards, club and team management) are still maturing. The list below is the current state, stated plainly. If you want to support the work, the simplest way is to become a monthly Supporter — direct, ongoing support for the platform — or to send a one-off tip.
Founder
Wushu Precision is built by Grit Tokley, a BCCMA Modern Wushu Taolu judge since 2023, WKFE Wushu Taolu judge (Grade B) since 2024, and IWUF Wushu Taolu judge (Grade B) since 2026. On the other side of the carpet, they competed in adult categories — gold at the British Nationals, silver at the Nordic Open, bronze at the European Shaolin Games — and represented Great Britain at the 2025 World Kungfu Championships in Emeishan.
The instinct behind it goes back further than wushu. Grit's first job was as a laboratory technician — tracking, recording, and reconciling samples and experiment outcomes, where a lost or mismatched record isn't a paperwork problem — it's a real one. That became a 12-year career as a data specialist across finance, travel, and FMCG: different rooms, same discipline — every record traceable, nothing quietly going missing. Watching a judging panel work from the inside made the parallel obvious: a scoring panel has exactly the same data-integrity problem. That is what Wushu Precision is built to solve first: not just producing a score, but making every component of it traceable and explicable long after the routine has finished. Auditability is not a feature here. It is the foundation everything else is built on.
