About Wushu Precision
A scoring and competition-management platform for modern and traditional wushu, built on the current IWUF rulebooks. It's for judges, organisers, athletes and the people watching from the stands.
Why this exists
Scoring wushu taolu is fast, high-pressure work. A panel of judges assesses the same routine against a detailed rulebook in real time, and athletes and coaches need to trust the result straight away. Too often they can't. The process has traditionally relied on paper score sheets, calculators and adding up by hand, which goes wrong under time pressure and can't be checked afterwards.
Wushu Precision replaces that with a shared, real-time system: every judge's tap is timestamped, every score is computed from the rulebook formula, and every result is published with its full breakdown. We don't change the rulebook. We make a score something you can check, rather than something you have to take on trust.
That standard is for the whole sport. Wushu Precision is built for competition from the club hall to the continental final, on the principle that an athlete's first routine deserves the same checkable score as a title-deciding one, at a price accessible to everyone in the sport.

- Judges A console for every seat on the modern panel (Head Judge, Assistant Head Judge, Quality of Movement, Overall Performance and Degree of Difficulty) and for Traditional Judges.
- Organisers Plan competitions end to end: sessions, carpets, events and registration windows. Wushu-aware tools help you shape sensible categories and merge small events so each field has enough competitors.
- Athletes & coaches Register in minutes, enter eligible events, follow your scores from first routine to final placings, and download a QR-verified certificate that links straight back to the published result.
- Spectators & families Browse competitions and follow live results without an account.
Built on the rulebook, not around it
Every formula, deduction code, and judging interface follows the rule editions currently issued by the International Wushu Federation: the IWUF Modern Wushu Taolu Rules (2024) and the IWUF Traditional Wushu Taolu Rules (2019). Where the rulebook is silent or ambiguous, we make a considered choice rather than a convenient one.
Where things stand
Wushu Precision is pre-release software. The judging core is live and in production use. Online entry payments and organiser billing are built and not yet switched on. The supporting tools (organiser dashboards, club and team management) are still maturing. If you want to support the work, the simplest way is to become a monthly Supporter or to send a one-off tip.
Founder
Wushu Precision is built by Grit Tokley, a BCCMA Modern Wushu Taolu judge since 2023, WKFE Wushu Taolu judge (Grade B) since 2024, and IWUF Wushu Taolu judge (Grade B) since 2026. On the other side of the carpet, they competed in adult categories, winning gold at the British Nationals, silver at the Nordic Open and bronze at the European Shaolin Games, and represented Great Britain at the 2025 World Kungfu Championships in Emeishan.
The instinct behind it goes back further than wushu. Grit's first job was as a laboratory technician, tracking, recording and reconciling samples and experiment outcomes, where a lost or mismatched record is a real problem rather than a paperwork one. That became a 12-year career as a data specialist across finance, travel and FMCG. The rooms changed but the discipline didn't: every record traceable, nothing quietly going missing. Watching a judging panel work from the inside made the parallel obvious, because a scoring panel has exactly the same data-integrity problem. That is what Wushu Precision is built to solve first: making every component of a score traceable and explicable long after the routine has finished.
